Pulling out the shoes for the chilly August day and going to visit Grandma M.

It was unseasonably cold today, so we had to find shoes and socks for Izzy. She usually isn't too thrilled about wearing socks or shoes, but today, her toys proved to be a great toy! Daddy and I were really excited that these shoes finally fit. We bought them on Sale at Baby Gap right after Izzy was born.


First stop on our weekend trip to Chicago was Grandma M.'s house. Uncle Nick was going to pick up Daddy and Delilah so they could hang out at his condo in the City. Before they left, Delilah got to run around in the yard with Aunt Annie's dog, Wrigley. They had a good time and I'm sure Deli enjoyed the freedom of getting to run around in the yard. After Daddy got picked up, Mommy and Izzy hung out with Grandma M. It was a low key evening with lots of play involved. What more could a little girl ask for?
