Today was Isabel's much awaited baby shower. It was not what you'd traditionally think of when you think of a baby shower since she is already here, but it ended up working out well. It was so great to see all of our extended families and family friends! It was a very busy time trying to make sure that Isabel was fed as well as participate in all of the shower events. It ended up being a huge success and everyone there enjoyed being able to meet the baby.
Thanks to our mom's, Auntie Arlene, and Busha (Great Grandma) for all of their efforts and contributions to making the baby shower a success. Also, many thanks to all of our guests who were very generous with their gifts for Isabel.
After the baby shower, we headed to the city and met up with many of our other friends who had not had the chance to meet Izzy yet. It was a great time and Izzy's sleep schedule was unchanged. She is such a great baby and we are happy that she is so flexible with traveling and sleeping in strange places. We just hope this continues as she gets older.
