Today Izzy got dressed in her Cheer's shirt and waited for Uncle Nick, BJ, and Eileen to arrive. The Cheer's shirt was a souvenir from Uncle Nick's trip to Boston. We actually have had it for many months prior to her birth and now was the perfect opportunity to wear it. It also gave her the opportunity to sport her cute jeans! Uncle Nick was so excited to see Izzy again.
Our guests arrived early in the afternoon and we took them to the Terrace for a nice view of the lake. It was a bit cold, so we ended up taking a walk up and down State Street. We stopped for ice cream along the way and enjoyed that on our walk. Daddy did most of the stroller pushing and Mommy chatted with BJ and Eileen and caught up on lost time.
After returning home, we ate burritos for dinner and watched some TV. We gave BJ and opportunity to hold Isabel and he was quite scared as you can see in the photo. I am happy to report that the holding session was a success and everyone lived to tell about it.
We were also able to get a great family photo of the three of us!
