Izzy's first doctor's appointment

Today was Izzy's first appointment with the pediatrician. She suggested to weigh her right before she left the hospital to hopefully see a weight gain with her weight at the appointment today. When she left the hospital, Izzy weighed 8 lbs., 15 oz. Today at the doctor, she weighed 9 lbs., 3 oz. The doctor was pleased with the weight gain. We were also excited and the doctor told us we no longer had to keep track of her eating and potty in the logbook. It makes things a lot less stressful when you aren't counting how many times she ate, on which side, for how long and how many times she peed or pooped. The doctor examined her and said she was "perfect". We thought that, but it is nice to hear someone else say that. On the way home, we stopped to pick up lunch at Gino's Italian Deli. Mom has been craving cured meats as she went the entire pregnancy without one piece of pepperoni or cold sandwich!
