Today Isabel got to meet her Uncle Chris and his girlfriend, Mary. Due to the weather and work situations, he was unable to come up for her birth. So, we were excited for him to finally meet her the first weekend we were at home. Actually, Grandma and Grandpa H. and Grandma M. were also in town visiting. Yesterday was Grandma M's birthday, so Isabel got to purchase (through Daddy) her first Happy Birthday Grandma card. It was a busy day with Mommy still recovering from her surgery and Daddy working on getting better from his bad cold, but it was nice to see family and get some good food (without having to make it or go pick it up). Isabel enjoyed being held and loved. We all slept well that night after a full day!
